Kellvikku En_na Badhil [KEB] is a wonderful and useful programme that should be enjoyed by everyone from 8 to 80. Even if you had missed the live telecast on 1st and 3rd Sundays at 12.05 p.m., the re-telecast of the earlier episode will be on the following Wednesday at 7.00 p.m. in DD Pothigai Channel. It is also re-telecast on Saturday midnight.
The DD had stopped KEB from the 2nd episode of January, 2009. If you like this programme to be continued, you may write a letter and post to the following address:- The Director, Doordharshan Kendra, No.5, Swami Sivananda Salai,Chennai - 600 005.
Please start KEB back. It is very helpful in sharpening our general knowledge and other skills. It is one best programs i have seen. One small request is that change the timings to the evening so that all can leisurely watch the program.

I dont understand the reason for KEB being pulledoff air. As far as I can see, it was one of those programmes that provided educative entertainment for the whole family.
KEB was one of the excellent programs aired by DD-Podhigai and I am appalled at its termination. It exposed us to various facts and facets of science. With just fifteen questions and its bewildering options, often KEB managed to flummox the viewers. Now it is sad to loose all the fun that was brought home on alternate sundays.
I am a regular viewer of KEB. Now our sundays will be void without KEB. It is a very very interesting and useful entertainment programme. We wish DD Podhigai brings in KEB in a new format. Pls do consider.
I watch KEB regularly and was one of the brainteasing programmes and I would like to watch it on air "LIVE" on Sundays. It has helped many of the students in their entrances too.

I watch KEB program regularly as it is one of the best program ever telecasted in the T.V channels.It is very sad to miss the program so the request on my side is to bring back KEB and team with some new innovations and also to telcast it regularly rather than telecasting on 1st ,3rd and 5th saturday.

SPECTACULAR..... Thats the only word that comes to my mind when i think of KEB.Though i cudn watch it live, i never missed the retelecast part.... From "safety pin" to "Plane",from "algebra" to "integrals"...& to express precisely, it uncovered "ANYTHING" to "EVERYTHING'. Everything that has a beginning has an end.. i only expect that the END be postpon for a few months.....
We need KEB back at any cost. Can anyone name any single knowledge based program in any channel and at any time that can match KEB's style, presentation methods and above all more thrilling and useful.
I think there is no rationale behind discontinuing this program.
Just like we have 'Sports-quiz' for sports we have 'KEB'for GK! We have been enjoying Sports quiz for the past 10 years or so and it is still good going! Hats off to Dr. sumanth for its lively presentation. In the same manner we want KEB also to go for ever in Podhigai as it is more versatile than sports quiz!
It is very regrettable and detestable on dd podhigai's part to have stopped such an informative program.while most of the private channels are maligning people's brain by showing them useless reality shows and mindless serials,KEB was one program(along with sports quiz,arivom arivai and the crossword program of podhigai)that was useful for the viewer and in the same time entertaining with very few advertisement interventions.with just two hours of time, i dont think KEB was blocking other programs either. infact people have been asking for a weekly program. the math questions were useful for b-school aspirants and job seekers. If it had been a private channel,they would long for such a program to boost trp's. As a channel which spreads throughout the country, i thind dd must show these kind of programs as only KNOWLEDGE IS POWER. if keb goes, it is loss only to podhigai and viewers like us,rather than KEB. hoping to see you again KEB!!

First, let me congratulate the KEB team for the extensive work in bring in an EDUCATIVE, INFORMATIVE FAMILY ENTERTAINER. HATS OFF.
It is program designed for all from 6 to 60 or even more. KEB covers a wide range from Maths to Cinema including science, history and current affairs. A good refresher for those aspiring to write professional course entrance examination.
The selection of questions, multiple choice to viewers to answer like internet, SMS and phone and the ranking of winner status, makes this program AN UNIQUE QUIZ SHOW EVER TELECAST ON INDIAN TV CHANNEL.
I was shocked to note the announcement regarding the suspension of the show and cant really understand who is responsible for this. Who ever it may be, I appeal to them, I appeal to all those connected with KEB and the officials of Doordarshan to continue the show. I also request that this show may be telecast on ALL SUNDAYS WITH THE SAME DURATION OF 1 HOUR. If not possible on all Sundays, with 2 HOURS DURATION ON ALTERNATE SUNDAYS.

This is a very good program. This has been viewed by Primary school kids to the retired persons in the family. Every alternative sunday we were waiting for this program. Moreover, such type of programs can be given by only Podhigai. Stopping this mind blowing program has put us in an irrecoverable sad state. I request the management of Podhigai to reconsider stopping such a wonderful and useful program. Instead of telecasting serials which increases the viewers BP and tension, such programs will be helping them to have a fresh mind also. Please continue this program.

Dear viewers Its been a fairly silent 3 months but we have been working trying to get the show back on air. It has been brought to the teams notice that a recent survey conducted in Madurai by DD shows that KEB has very low ratings, has sporadic viewership and the viewer finds it vague in content and presentation. But the team still believes in the quality of the programme and our efforts to come back are solely based on your positive comments and feedback about KEB.
